Quick Update

Hello all,

I'm glad to see people are looking this blog up and I apologize for not updating until now. Please leave your name in the post so I know who is commenting. I am also going to apologize for such a weak update. I will not have the internet at my place until mid-week, I think, and I am using a computer at an internet cafe. This computer sucks! I swear it's using windows 98, netscape 2.0, doesn't have flash player, and the letters are in some weird places. In short, my I-pod could serf the net better than this thing.

Anyway, Budapest is absolutely gorgeous! I'm acclimating to the culture and my surroundings, and I've been exploring the city extensively. I have been to a few museums, palaces, bars, restaraunts, parks, galleries, and clubs. I've met people from all around the world who are going to Corvinus Universitiy. Every one is extremely friendly and interesting. I'm going to extend an invintation to anyone to come and visit me. They can stay at my place which is actually really nice.

I will post pictures with more details when I can use my computer on my own connection. In the mean time here is a list of things I have learned after being here for a week.

1. Food is relatively cheap. I had a gourmet meal that consisted of filet mignon, amazing potatoes, coke, and alcohol complete with the beautiful arrangment of food for 25 bucks. Oh, that includes a 20% tip too.

2. Wine is really cheap. It's like buying juice.

3. Juice is expensive, but it's not like buying wine.

4. Clothes are really cheap. They are about a 3rd of the cost here.

5. Women here are absolutely gorgeous, nice, scantely clad, and abundant.

6. Beer is cheap! It's about $1.50 at a bar.

7. The clubs here blow the ones in the states out of the water! I was at one on the Danube river last night. It was open from early evening until about 4 or 5 in the morning. It cost about $5 to get in and the drinks were reasonable. There were easily about 1500 people in this open air club. I and a bunch of people I met were at a private table for free. The girl to guy ratio was 3 to 1 and all of the women were gorgeous. Absolutley amazing!

Well that's it for now I'll updat again later with pictures!
